All the Colors of the Rainbow

There are so many beautiful colors in our world. They are all around us, in everything we see. Rainbows show many colors for everyone to enjoy.

Red Red is the first color of the rainbow. Pretty flowers like roses and the kisses Grandma leaves on your cheek are the color red.
	Orange Orange is the second color of the rainbow. Macaroni and cheese and mandarins we eat in the summertime are the color orange.
Yellow Yellow is the third color of the rainbow. The sun that shines on us and the lilies that grow in the spring time are the color yellow.
Green Green is the fourth color of the rainbow. The grass that grows in the park and the four leaf clovers that bring us good luck are the color green.
	Blue Blue is the fifth color of the rainbow. The sky outside and the ocean that we swim in are the color blue.
Indigo Indigo is the sixth color of the rainbow. The midnight sky on a clear night is the color indigo.
	Violet Violet is the seventh and the last color of the rainbow. The sweet plums that we eat and the orchids that grow in our gardens are the color violet.

When all the colors of the rainbow are put together, they can make the most beautiful creations; like butterflies, peacocks, and you! There are so many beautiful colors in our world.
