It was the end of Jacob’s first
day of preschool. Jacob’s
mother came to pick him up.
He waved good-bye to his
new friends. He said to his
teachers, "See you tomorrow!"

When Jacob and his mother
drove away in their car,
Jacob could not stop talking
about all of the fun he had at
preschool. He told his mom
about the new shapes that he
now knew.
|
|
"There are lots of different
shapes. I can remember
circles, squares, triangles,
and rectangles. Circles are my
favorite to draw. They have no
sides." |

As the car slowed down to stop
at the red traffic light Jacob
looked up from his seat in the
back and shouted, "There are
circles on that pole!"
