Hopscotch - Game 1 - Shapes on the Playground

Mom asked Jacob, "How many circles are there Jacob?"

Jacob counted, "One, two, three. There are three circles on the pole."

"Let’s go to the park," Mom said. "We can look for more shapes there."

Jacob responded, "Okay! I love going to the park and playing on the playground."

Jacob and his mom arrived at the park. Jacob saw another shape that he learned about in preschool. "Look Mom!" Jacob exclaimed, "There are lots of triangles over there." Jacob pointed to the climbing structure in the middle of the playground. "Triangles have three sides."

"Yes, those are triangles," said Mom. "Can you find any more triangles on the playground?"

Jacob looked around and sure enough he found more triangles.
