Hopscotch - Game 1 - Shapes on the Playground

Next Jacob wanted to go play in the sand box. This was his favorite place to play. Jacob made a sandcastle with four towers. He wanted to show his mom what he built so he ran to get her. Jacob’s mom was very proud of his sandcastle and she quickly noticed another shape on the playground. She said to Jacob, "I see another shape on the playground!"
"Really?" asked Jacob. "Yes," replied Mom. "I will give you a hint. The shape I see is something you were just playing in."	Jacob looked around the sandbox and finally noticed that the outside of the sandbox did look like a shape he learned about in preschool. He shouted, "The sandbox looks like a square! It has four sides that look the same."
	"That is exactly what I was thinking," Jacob’s mom replied. "I almost forgot about looking for shapes," Jacob said. "Let’s go look for some more." Jacob took his mothers hand and led her to another part of the playground.
